Lucy Hale stars as the title character,, an aspiring fashion designer who heads to New York City to follow her dreams. It is based on the Archie Comics character of the same name.
The series also stars Ashleigh Murray's character singer-songwriter Josie who made her first appearance in, Jonny Beauchamp, and Julia Chan will play her circle of friends. Zane Holtz will play Katy's love interest, and Katherine LaNasa Murra will play the role of her boss. The CW released the extended trailer over the weekend, and it's very different from the dark Riverdale with fashion and music at the forefront.
