The 2023 Afro Nation held its third annual music festival in Portugal, boasting an impressive line-up peppered with local artists.

JOHANNESBURG – Afro Nation made a much-anticipated return for its third annual edition, this time taking place in Portugal.

The event, aimed at showcasing the cultural diversity the continent has to offer kicked off on 28 June and ended on Friday. Packed with household names from Africa, the highly anticipated festival, which this year took inspiration from cultures in Portugal, boasted an impressive line-up, with some of our local's greats taking to the stage.

Some southern African artists that made appearances included the likes of Uncle Waffles, Pabbie Cooper, Tyler ICU, DJ Maphorisa, and DBN Gogo.
