Veteran ANC leader Reverend Frank Chikane is appearing before Deputy Chief Justice Raymond Zondo at the state capture commission of inquiry on Tuesday.He was one of the 27 former DGs who called for the establishment of a public inquiry into state capture in 2016. They expressed particular concern over revelations of alleged state capture by the Gupta family.
Chikane previously told News24 that he believed funds laundered during the state capture project would be used to"steal the 2019 elections". On Monday, former British MP Lord Peter Hain described the collapsed Estina dairy farm project as one of the examples of organised robbery by the controversial Gupta family.
