She's known for her no nonsense approach to service delivery and accountability but Limpopo Heath MEC, Dr Phophi Ramathuba, often finds herself being criticised by some who accuse her of playing to the gallery. eNCA speaks to her for more.JOHANNESBURG - Limpopo Health MEC Phophi Ramathuba is not backing down following another controversial video that has set tongues wagging.
In a clip that went viral this week, Ramathuba can be seen scolding senior managers at Rethabile Clinic in Polokwane for sitting idle while patients wait in long queues. She says service delivery must be prioritised at all times and that she will not apologise for being stern.

I love her, especially with the case of hospital management and diaries, that's all they do, they're no longer nurses but upper class in a hospital setting,no matter how short staffed the institution is,they hold dearly to their diaries and high heels, kudos to Health MEC 👏👏👏

She wants service delivery for citizens, I respect her. Public health is one area where poor service and ill treatment of patients is the order of the day. Mistakes are done and she’ll learn and grow from them but the good outweighs the bad

Don’t crack the whip, fire non performing employees. That will send a clear message. This blah, blah does not impress me at all. Follow the disciplinary process and if performance does not improve - FIRE THEM. This nonsense of talking with no action must end.
Well there doesn’t seem to be improvement? How long has she been MEC, we just see media stunts all the time. You address professional people behind close doors, find out what is the problem and if you see it is incompetence, get rid, stop sending videos.
