Picture: Michel BegaThe former president ousted Khumalo and other MK party leaders weeks before the national and provincial elections. Jabulani Khumalo's lawyer tells the Electoral Court that former president Jacob Zuma's daughter, Duduzile Zuma-Sambudla forged the letter which was submitted to the IEC as his resignation.

Ka-Siboto then presented evidence before the court to show that the letter had distinguishable differences in the signatures of Khumalo. “The forgery theory is based on the one letter theory and our version is based on the fact that he wrote two letters.” Adv. Dali Mpofu says Jabulani Khumalo wrote two letters to the IEC, and the commission also confirmed receiving those. This as Khumalo argues that a resignation letter sent to the commission was forged by Zuma's daughter, Duduzile Zuma-Sambudla.Khumalo was expelled from the MK party in April with current leader Jacob Zuma referring to Khumalo as an interim leader.
