EFF leader Julius Malema has scolded the Premier Soccer League for not challenging the government on regulations allowing crowds in stadiums.

“Why is the PSL silent when political parties are meeting in soccer stadiums, yet soccer clubs are not allowed to meet in stadiums? That is an absolute nonsense, it's not science.

President Cyril Ramaphosa addressed a sizeable crowd at Old Peter Mokaba Stadium in Polokwane at the ANC's annual January 8 birthday rally on Saturday.

The sponsor (DSTv) doesn’t want them to challenge government

Stadium managers are allegedly colluding with DSTV bosses, who want to sell viewers to advertisers

For how long should fans be absent from stadiums? Malema is right, the PSL is not challenging the government on this matter.

It's an unfortunate situation as govt gave a green light for a maximum 2000 outdoor gatherings. SAFA also said the PSL can go ahead & implement. Q: After the MTN8 final pilot as we're made to believe, what hv they discovered that made them not to allow the maximum 2000 in stadia?
