This hairdresser is doing her bit to save the planet... one follicle at a time.Did you know that human hair can soak up many times its own weight when placed in oil?After cutting her customers' hair, Adele collects it and feeds it into a special machine; the machine then weaves the hair into a mat.

If you don't believe us, watch the video of the process below, which includes a demonstration of how the mat soaks up motor oil. By producing these mats we are diverting hair from landfill and preventing blocked drains, while also preventing oil from polluting our oceans and waterways.
