The 50-year-old rapper - whose real name is Sean Combs - has slammed the Recording Academy for its alleged "discrimination" of black artists, as he claims that music made by people of colour has "never been respected" by those in charge of handing out the gongs. Diddy spoke as part of a lengthy 50-minute speech, which he delivered at Clive Davis' annual Pre-Grammy Gala on Saturday after being honoured with the President's Merit Award for Industry Icon.
