According to the official synopsis, the series takes place ten years after Dexter went missing. He is now living under a new name in the fictional town of Iron Lake, New York. He is embracing his new life, has a girlfriend who is a policewoman and works at a store. In the wake of unexpected events in this close-knit community, his Dark Passenger inevitably beckons.
In the clip, we get a glimpse of Dexter sharpening his cleaver, his sister Deb and it ends with a reunion with his son, Harrison , who he abandoned in the series finale.
