Diversity specialist, Teresa Oakley-Smith says not enough is being done for transformation in rugby despite the number of black players.

“These moments of hope, it reminds me of the 2010 football tournament, the World Cup that was held here. We had again, the media hyping up this 'we are united'...but I can tell you in places where it really matters, in the workplaces, in many of the schools, this kind of unity, false unity isn't seen,” she said.Ndlozi defends controversial RWC comments, won't 'live a lie'

“We're not united. There are 8 % of White South Africans in this country, there are 90 % of African and Coloured South Africans and that is not reflected in the demographics of our rugby team. Neither is it applauded in the emblem of our rugby team, the Springboks emblem is seen as a racist and colonialist emblem.”For more on this, watch the full interview above

While basking in the glory of the World Cup win, the outgoing Springboks coach and his captain are also being measured in terms of the diversity debate. Courtesy

Poverty is the problem. Foreign investment, create jobs, more people earning, better schools, more access to sport and then whallah! Demographics solved. Now to start with the investors - fix eskom that would help.

Negative ppl should teach themselves to either pray, do yoga and or meditate FIRST thing in de morning before they make contact with the rest of the world......

Who is this oakly Smith and where is she getting the facts total negativity once again from encamaggs

One should consider the momentum of so many successes by South Africans in recent weeks being celebrated by South Africans across our diverse spectrum to be a catalyst for moving forward as a nation together...

Is it just me or are there suddenly a handful of so called intellectuals desperately trying to throw shade on a time in our country where we the people are making the change... so many egos being bashed by simple positive outlooks... every journey starts with the 1st step...

Was barely one to start off with. We think a single victory is going to change SA culture. That’s an illusion set by media outlets. Our issues are bigger than game wins. We brought it home that’s what matters. National-unity is something else.

Are we talking about the Siya Kholisi show?...no offence to Siya but there was 20- 30 odd people in that team but this celebration has become all about Siya!..just sayin’

Racial Unity might not happen in our life time But Generations to come....it might happen generations to come....its up to us to push for racial unity so that other generations can enjoy.I am optimistic abt our country...the road for unity and equal opportunities is long nd hard

Here we go again....

Please help me retweet this🙏🏼! My bursary couldnt pay my accomodation and food allowance this month my fees were too high so everything went over budget.I am not supported financially.I have personal reasons as to why I cannot go home resorting to me staying on res.

“A panacea”? Good lord, what the fuck are we thinking It’s a RWC victory, not the end of a fucking revolution!!!!!! Baby steps people, National unity is achieved my much more than just this!!! It requires equal opportunities, economic growth, leaders that unify etc.

But this is what MbuyiseniNdlozi has been saying🤷🏾‍♂️

AGAIN?!!!! Seriously

Why is eNCA pushing this eff agenda?

What is Unity? Show me 1 country that has unity and no difference in point of views! Can I hear different point of views of what is Unity? As for the Boks we celebrated United. But what unity are politicians and people after? How do we get it? We all see it differently.

The Send Me generation...does not agree with your views..rather let's glean positive traits and encourage them..and that requires experts to be responsible by playing a leading role and foster social cohesion.

is the one that's promoting hate among South Africans! They always give the efftellytubbies delinquent Julius_S_Malema and his just as uneducated delinquent MbuyiseniNdlozi air time to spew their hatred and racism. The public must boycott eNCA to show evil won't win here

Fake unity voetsek

No one said them winning would solve racial problems.. Like no one ever said that.. At all.. Plz stop assuming that a national victory will solve our problems.. It's just a national victory.. We won..

Correct
