The Sussex legal team put in a request for Meghan Markle's case trial against Associated Newspapers to be delayed, after the court granted the newspaper group permission to amend their defence.
The court has granted the small victory to Meghan's team, saying the"primary basis" for the delay was on"a confidential ground". Meghan, who with her husband Prince Harry is waging an increasingly public war with some media outlets, is suing the publishers of the Mail on Sunday, Daily Mail and MailOnline.by publishing extracts of correspondence with her estranged father, Thomas, before she married Harry., to allege the couple cooperated on a recent book about their lives together.
