Patrick Kasaija was arrested on March 7 last year at his Midrand home.

"The culprits telephoned her family, demanding a ransom of $1m. The victim’s family paid some of the money but their daughter was not returned. On February 26 2018, the body of the victim's mutilated body was recovered, dumped along a road.

Kasaija was arrested on March 7 last year at his Midrand home and appeared in court on the same day. Various legal processes had been ongoing since then.
