Kaizer Chiefs are making wholesale changes at the club from top to bottom. Most recently, they’ve revamped their technical team.Two faces have arrived at Naturena, ready for work before the 2024-2045 campaign. French-Portuguese coach Fernando Da Cruz is at the club and goalkeeper coach Ilyes Mzoughi has followed suit.
Half a dozen players are out of contract at the end of June. Those names are Itumeleng Khune, Sifiso Hlanti, Njabulo Ngcobo, Siyethemba Sithebe, George Matlou and Keagan Dolly. Ngcobo is widely expected to sign with Sekhukhune with an agreement already in place. Midfielder Matlou is also not expected to play for the club again and the same is true for veteran former AmaZulu star Sithebe. The situation with left-back Hlanti has gone back and forth but he’s also more likely to leave than stay.
