Tsakani Maluleke set to become first female auditor-general

Deputy auditor-general Tsakani Maluleke is tipped to become the first female head of the chapter 9 institution after being unanimously recommended for the job by a parliamentary ad hoc committee.

Maluleke is set to follow in the footsteps of Kimi Makwetu, who also first served as deputy before he was appointed as auditor-general.
