It is Tourism Month and the industry is inviting local tourists to explore the sights to make up for the devastating effect of the coronavirus.

The Bureau of Economic Research estimates if the country doesn't open its borders to international travel by the end of the year, over a million jobs will be lost.SA Tourism CEO Sisa Ntshona said it's safe.

Ntshona said supply and demand would determine the price of the packages businesses would be offering.
