Thobejane Makes Zwane Plea To Chiefs | Soccer Laduma

Since the season ended, Zwane has become increasingly under pressure in his role after the club failed to win a single trophy and finished in an unimpressive fifth place on the DStv Premiership log.Furthermore, Zwane has appeared to be facing an uncertain future in recent times as Amakhosi are strongly linked with Tunisian coach Nasreddine Nabi, who has had success with Tanzanian giants Young Africans.

Former Chiefs defender, Rodney Thobejane, is pleading for patience with Zwane for at least one more season from the two left on his contract.

“I feel like now that Arthur has had his first full season with the team and learned from it, he should be allowed to continue. Surely, there are lessons learnt from this past season that he can build on. It would then be after the new season that panic buttons can be pressed to say he has failed if he doesn’t do well. He would have been given enough chances to prove himself in my opinion,” said Thobejane.“The thing with a big club like Chiefs is that every time the team plays there is pressure.
