ICYMI: This chart-topping songwriter had to learn how to walk again after a snake bite

The 31-year-old is on an odyssey across the United States, from New Jersey to California, in honour of Mac Miller and Avicii, as well as his own late father. In a post on his Instagram , Mike said about the incident:"I knew walking across America was going to be dangerous. I knew I could die doing it. I still might. So don't feel sorry for me,".

He went on:"I'm proud I'm in this hospital after chasing my dream and not sitting on the couch watching Netflix. I'm proud of this pain."
