He's considering putting an end to the emergency procurement of personal protective equipment and going back to an open process.Mboweni has been speaking to Parliament's finance committee about claims of corruption in the awarding of PPE tenders. "In an ethical society, one would have expected that all the parties concerned, would have followed the Treasury instructions to the latter," the minister said.Finance Minister Tito Mboweni says trust has been broken by thieves assembling at his door. He's considering putting an end to the emergency procurement of personal protective equipment and going back to an open process.
