TelCables South Africa, a subsidiary of Angola Cables, has opened a new point of presence (PoP) at the Teraco Riverhorse facility in Durban.

TelCables South Africa, a subsidiary of Angola Cables, has opened a new Point of Presence at the Teraco Riverhorse facility in Durban.The new Durban point of presence will strengthen and support East-to-West connectivity in South Africa and the rest of the continent.

This gateway aims to deliver internet services and content to businesses and industries across the East Coast of Africa and South Africa. TelCables South East Africa CEO Sudhir Juggernath said the new Durban PoP will cater to the growing demand for ‘as a service’ solutions and boost digital infrastructure in the region.

These networks are supported by low-latency routing options to West Africa, South America, the USA, the UK, Europe, and Asia.
