“How do they even catch criminals if they cannot collaborate a simple march off the scene of the comrade's funeral.”

The blunder, captured on television and broadcast widely on social media, saw officers seemingly not knowing their left from their right when given an order at the funeral held at the University of Johannesburg in front of dignitaries who had gathered to pay their respects.

President Cyril Ramaphosa, first lady Dr Tshepo Motsepe and former presidents Thabo Mbeki and Kgalema Motlanthe were among the attendees.

They dont catch criminals, thats just it. WHAT THEY DO CATCH: Alcohol on duty Bribes on duty Some catch other things on DUTY😏 The list can go on and on, but if criminals where caught, crime would be low.

They don't need drill to catch criminals, we can't dispute the fact that police do have successes in their work. Simple drill error, we start questioning capability 😂🤣😂

Imagine if the Chinese invade us... Wait...

You kiddin me.. We have trained for parades as well and it didn' look like interval at the Boswell Wilkie circus

SAPS training and numbers is nothing but QUANTITY ABOVE QUALITY. Churning out such LARGE numbers of recruits at pass -out parades is worrying. That is why the skills training is so poor. Many are unfit and some I know of do not qualify as they do not have drivers' licences. BAD.

Dunderheads! 🙄

They can march up and down like tinpot soldiers as much as they like . The xrime numbers tell the story

Drill has nothing to do with catching criminals, the two aren't intertwined and are remote from each other

Parachuted to higher ranks, how could they get it all wrong,I'm don't believe they ever practised, they just don't have a clue of what was expected of them when the instructions were given

They don't. That is why SA is lawless.

Apology not enough. Heads must roll.🤔

Our SAPS can't even lift their legs when they march, like these Mozambique police.Eating too much Nyama!

Clowns.

You're not making sense here , coz they always catch criminals...

Well, if they had all had proper basic training and drill instruction, they would not have cocked it up so royally. This is what happens when military and police personnel are placed in positions they are unqualified for and given ranks they don’t deserve.

Our SAPS can't even lift their legs when they match, like these Mozambique police.Eating too much Nyama!
