CAPE TOWN, SOUTH AFRICA - MARCH 31: Lindokuhle Mtshali of Swallows FC and Rushwin Dortley of Cape Town Spurs during the DStv Premiership match between Cape Town Spurs and Moroka Swallows at Athlone Stadium on March 31, 2024 in Cape Town, South Africa.
A Moroka Swallows star midfielder could be on the radar of the big teams in Gauteng - Orlando Pirates, Kaizer Chiefs and Mamelodi Sundowns, among others - after a big hint by his agency. Although most players who impressed for Swallows this past season would naturally be searching for opportunities elsewhere, following the uncertainty brought about by the club's sale rumours, Lindokuhle Mtshali would not be bound by any contract.
Swallows displayed a good brand of football under Nyatama, with Mtshali one of the key players in midfield, as the 26-year-old bagged four goals in 21 starts. Following the expiry of his contract at the Birds, Mike Makaab, CEO of ProSport International, has confirmed that they are in the process of engaging potential new clubs in negotiations over the services of the nimble-footed midfielder."We're confident that within a week or so that we will start serious negotiations with one of those clubs.
