Stellies put six past Chiefs slayers in Nedbank Cup

Stellenbosch FC hammered Milford FC 6-1 to advance to the quarter-finals of the Nedbank Cup on Friday evening.

Winger Antonio Van Wyk unfortunately couldn’t continue following a knock and this forced the Maroons to make an early substitution where Anicet Oura entered. The Maroons restored their two-goal cushion a minute later when Oura and Rayners combined once again to witness the Ivorian curl into the far post from a clever position.

Milford battled immensely thereafter, with last season’s semi-finalist holding all the cards and interestingly eager to add to an already hefty score-line.
