Cape Town City will be looking to catch up with leaders Mamelodi Sundowns in the DStv Premiership standings when they visit SuperSport United on Friday evening at TUT Stadium.

The Citizens have had a perfect start in the Premiership with back-to-back 1-0 victories over Polokwane City and Moroka Swallows.

Eric Tinkler's charges are lying second on the table with six points, three points behind leaders Sundowns, who have played an extra game. Matsatsantsa, however, are also wounded after they were eliminated in the MTN8 quarter-finals by Stellenbosch, who edged them 1-0 in extra-time last weekend. United are placed third on the table with four points, just two points behind City.
