Bathabile Dlamini's attendance at the NEC meeting was described as"anti-renewal" by aggrieved ANC members. There was a call to act decisively against Dlamini.
"She [Dlamini] was present at the meeting," said an NEC member, who added that her presence painted the highest decision-making body in a bad light and demonstrated a level of bias. "As the leader of the party, President Cyril Ramaphosa needs to have acted decisively on the matter if Dlamini does not want to step aside peacefully," said the NEC member.
