French club Racing 92's owner, Jacky Lorenzetti has given an unflattering assessment of Siya Kolisi following the team's trophyless season.

Two-time World Cup-winning Springbok captain Siya Kolisi has been come under fire from his club side Racing 92’s owner Jacky Lorenzetti.to a second successive World Cup title in Paris last October, Kolisi made a permanent move to the same city a month later after signing for Parisian club

As the marquee signing, his arrival came with a lot of hype and hope and of course the weight of expectation.But with the season now over for Racing, it’s safe to say Kolisi’s first season was a failure and a visibly frustration Lorenzetti has publicly admitted as much following the team’s trophyless campaign.

“We can talk about a waste of a season,” he said, after Racing’s 17-31 loss to Bordeaux-Begles in a preliminary play-off loss in the Lorenzetti openly aired his disappointment with his high-profile import Kolisi, with Racing boss criticising the Springbok captain for “gaining weight” and having “lost his shape”.“The break was harmful to him,” the Racing boss said of Kolisi’s mid-season hand injury that required surgery.“In the back row, we used to have an ever-present warrior, Wenceslas Lauret. At the moment, Siya is not . However, we think that next season, that will change.

“I gained five kilograms and then I remember getting to the gym and one of the physios said: ‘You look like ****’.
