Six Durban beaches closed after 'high levels of E-coli' found in sea water

Six of Durban's beaches have been closed after unacceptable levels of E-coli were found in the sea water. Stock photo.The eThekwini municipality has closed six of Durban's beaches with immediate effect after “unacceptable” levels of E-coli bacteria were found in sea water following the “vandalism” of one of the city's sewage pump stations.

The municipality said in the interests of public safety, the following beaches would be closed until further notice:

Durban Beach swamped with sewage spillage from Umgeni river. Look at the brown stain. Drink that water will result in e-coli infection

I barely made after being infected. MYANC has fail the to create proper refuse and sewer systems for the people in KZN.

People everywhere are doing their things in any river flowing past. And then it ends up in dams.
