Five suspects, Mthokoziseni Maphisa, Muzikawukhulelwa Sibiya, Bongani Sandiso Ntanzi, Mthobisi Prince Mncube and Sifisokuhle Nkani Ntuli, are on trial for the murder of Bafana Bafana and Pirates goalkeeper, Senzo Meyiwa.
In his confession statement, Muzi Sibiya said he visited a traditional healer who gave him medicine to protect and help him succeed in killing former Bafana Bafana captain Senzo Meyiwa. Sibiya is one of five men on trial in the Gauteng High Court in Pretoria for the murder of Meyiwa, who was shot and killed while visiting his girlfriend, Kelly Khumalo, on 26 October 2014.
