State-owned communications network provider Sentech is set to drive the provision of additional channels via set-top boxes, Minister Khumbudzo Ntshavheni said.

Supplied by GCIS

"Given the prevalence of Smart TVs in the country, Sentech will commence a process to create a channel to carry streaming content from the current DTT/ DTH platform," said Ntshavheni. She said the deferment had given the government"sufficient time to complete the installation of set-top boxes for the households who had timeously registered to receive the devices before the switch-off date".

If you post the same story enough times, then it becomes true? Nonsense, what Africans need is the realization that their freedom lies in the vote and especially in how they exercise that vote. Keep changing the ruling party or political office bearers until politicians learn who their masters are and deliver the promised mandate. Agreed. Make it happen... don't take it from whites.... stand on your own two feet... look what happened to SAA, Praia, Eskom, Post Office... BEE does not work...
