Selena Gomez reveals she might not be able to have kids

'Ice Cream' hitmaker Selena Gomez has revealed that she may never be able to carry her own children. The 30-year-old says two medications she takes for her bipolar condition could affect her chances of conceiving.But Selena won't let that get in the way of her becoming a mother one day."I’m meant to have them, I will," she said.

The actress says she broke down into tears after visiting a friend who was trying to start a family of her own., "A number of medications for bipolar disorder can be associated with birth defects and can pass through breast milk to your baby. Certain medications, such as valproic acid and divalproex sodium, should not be used during pregnancy. Also, birth control medications may lose effectiveness when taken along with certain bipolar disorder medications.
