Amahle Hlam disappeared from her home in Old Crossroads on Human Rights Day. Her brother, 30-year-old Wesley Hlam, says his sister was excited about the public holiday because she wanted to rest.
‘She just woke up and left before we were awake, and we’re not sure what she was wearing. We checked her closet and we assumed she was wearing blue jeans, a white top, and green Crocs because not there,’ he told‘Amahle disappeared, and we haven’t heard from her since. The whole family is devastated because we don’t know where to look. The whole family has been affected, including the kids.’Hlam is currently a Grade 12 learner at Immaculata Secondary School in Wynberg.
