Primestars is a 13-year young company , that specialises in facilitating Youth Development programmes for high school learners from underserved communities. These programmes are designed to help South African youth develop the skills needed to participate more meaningfully in the economy, thereby building a sustainable environment in which business can operate.While Primestars may be the catalyst for this exciting and impactful programme, they cannot do it alone.
The Foundation was established in 2018 and has satisfied all compliance requirements for Non-profit companies in South including Section 18 A as well as NPO Status. Its activities are funded by donations from bona fide donors and its activities are carried out in a non-profit manner and with an altruistic and philanthropic intent.Angie has been the Minister of Basic Education since 11 May 2009 and she is also a member of the African National Congress National Executive Committee.
