Sascoc calls off elections

The SA Sports Confederation and Olympic Committee is the latest sports controlling body to have its important conference put on hold due to the Covid-19 coronavirus outbreak.The elective conference was set for March 28, at the federation’s headquarters at Olympic House in Johannesburg.

As things stand, then vice president Barry Hendricks has been holding fort as the interim president of the embattled federation that was subjected to a ministerial inquiry two years ago to investigate allegations of mismanagement and financial irregularities. Apparently, one document relating to Skhosana’s endorsement as a member of good standing at ASA was not provided.
