Durban - Durban celebrity businesswoman Shauwn Mkhize’s long battle with the taxman has ended with the liquidation of her company, Zikhulise Cleaning Maintenance and Transport .
In its founding affidavit, Sars sets out that as at February 1, 2016, ZCMT was indebted to Sars in excess of R122 million, of which R50m was disputed by the company. On her reality show, KwaMaMkhize, which aired on DStv, she set tongues wagging with her opulent lifestyle. “Sars specifically sets out that ZCMT, over an extended period, failed to comply with its tax obligations, both regarding the submission of complete and accurate returns and payment of taxes.
She said Sars alleged that ZCMT continued to receive and disburse its income for the benefit of its members without discharging or making adequate provision for the payment of its taxes and thereby increasing the risk that the tax debt would be irrecoverable.

We must differentiate between a business person and a tenderprenuer. This lady isn't businesswoman and she probably didn't know that she was supposed to pay her taxes cause the person that gave her the tender only mentioned the brides and not taxman.

Rich black celebrities simply don't know how to lay low. The likes of Somizi, Bonang, and Mamkhize like to flaunt their wealth but were found wanting in their tax obligations. It's a true shame!
