CAPE TOWN - The SACP in the Western Cape is accusing premier Alan Winde of refusing to meet with them.He said they've sent numerous letters detailing their grievances.The union protested against crime and the high cost of living in Cape Town. “We have sent numerous letters to the premier, we wanted to engage him on some of the issues that we have sent in the past, last year October," Ngqentsu said.

"Now this one wants to come here and lie, we cannot allow that. We are going to send another letter to him, we want to engage him, we want them to come to the table and sit down and raise our issues, we are very reasonable as workers, we are not protecting national government because our interest is you as workers, the fat cats we have nothing to do with them.”
