SAA faces headwinds as more travel insurance firms dump airline.

SAA has not made a profit since 2011 and is struggling with an unprofitable route network, ageing and inefficient airplanes and a bloated workforce, despite bailouts of more than R20-billion over the past three years.

“No one managing SAA, from Minister Gordhan downwards, anticipated the flight of confidence that the strike would have,” Leitch said. ’HIGH-STAKES GAME’ In a letter to clients dated November 28, Flight Centre said TIC’s underwriters were no longer willing to cover SAA under their Travel Supplier Insolvency benefit due to doubts about long-term viability of the airline.

South African President Cyril Ramaphosa’s government has taken a harder line on SAA recently, saying that repeated bailouts must end as it tries to preserve the country’s last investment-grade credit rating.

Mid-high school certificate is a game changer for South AfricaSome critics argue that the new certificate may encourage more pupils to drop out of school. But we argue that it is a positive move. For sure! It is dumbing our people down in line with the thinking, 'keep them stupid and you can control them.' The best thing a person can do is get a hugh level education. Then you can go anywhere in the world to work and give your children a better future. Pathways? ILLUSION is created to give Joe Public the idea that everything is in order to accommodate mid high school certificate leavers. Infact those kids who will be leaving are messed up. They have not acquired any skill neither are they able to read 99% of the time.
