SAA, Emirates R1.5bn contract: Treasury, ex-transport minister supported the deal

Pretoria - The National Treasury and the national Department of Transport were fully supportive of SAA signing a R1.5bn deal with Emirates Airlines.

The parties are accusing Myeni of plunging the national carrier into financial chaos during her six year tenure as board chairperson. “We made arrangements for such a meeting. We managed to secure a meeting for the two at the Arabian Travel Show on May 2 in Dubai. On the eve of the trip, Nico Bezuidenhout told me that Ms Myeni was not travelling with us. Bezuidenhout said we should tell the Emirates bosses that she was sick,” Bosc said.

Enough of this nonsense, lock her up

Only a bribe could have prevented that scumbag Dudu from signing a hugely profitable deal for SAA and the county. Question is who bribed her and to what end?

It's VERY simple, people. Myeni had no time for a deal that didn't cut the ANC generally, and her specifically (and by extension daddy Zuma) into it financially. End of story.
