SA's electric-powered bus to reduce emissions eNCA

This new form of public transport also reduces emissions and promotes green transport. That’s just one of the perks of a South African innovation, the electric-powered bus.Mpumalanga world's 2nd biggest sulphur emission hotspot

“We are 90 percent cheaper on operational costs, so it’s much easier for the bus industry to use an electrical bus,” said MiPower's chief marketing officer, Alilali Ramabulana. The zero-emission bus works on batteries and if it gets stuck, a phone call from the bus driver to Mi-Power gets a power bank sent to its location. But the company is hoping to sell to municipalities once the full fleet is out.

I'm driving a car but now I'm lost ,electric powered in which way?can some1 explains to me

I love this but what happens if there's load shedding?

Eskom

Run that pass Eskom_SA first.🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

Definitely will because it will stand still waiting to be charged by Eskom! Give all the politicians spinning bikes so they can spin during load shedding and feed some power back into grid!! Sorry forgot they are too busy indulging themselves!! 😡😡😡

Government: “we are going to have electric powered buses” Eskom : 🤫🤫 you must akksss!

Just imagine we can't go back home due to load shedding

Fund the guy....

We don't emit in RSA Compared to China USA etc..

Where will electricity come from? Eskom? They're bold.

One who introduced this is either us stupid or a fool

I hate to do this but... Nobody: SA Gov: electric bus EVERYONE: what about the poverty?

Bayeza omageza, bazoy'shisa yonke lento

No, actually only reduces emissions if you replace it with renewable energy. Otherwise it could be worse using Eskoms’ polluting electricity to power them.

Kanjan when we already suffering from load shedding

And what is this?

And the electricity they use, where is it generated? What will happen to the environment when the demand for more electric vehicles are on the road? We are certainly talking 1 stop forward 3 steps back.

Where will they charge 🤔 with this loadshedding Bulldust👐🏽

Loadshedding 'll show you flames

ONS HET NIE KRAG NIE !!!!!!!!!!!!!

Who invented it who supplied the parts? i will only be proud if everything and every little part of it was made in africa by africans

Oh i love this

It will have very low emissions, because there's no bloody electricity to charge and power the thing. Next they will be buying planes without wings.

Sooner or later, the electric powered bus will be in flames🔥🔥🔥🔥

In the midst of congratulating the inventor, you'll hear that the electric bus is burnt down during protest😂😂😂😂😂

In the middle of load shedding 🥺

🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 by what percentage lol?

What about loadshedding? 😅

Haibo don't play with us we don't have electricity now as we speak u tell us about electric Bus, how is it going to move during load shedding 😂😂😂😂

With what electricity?

It's very easy how people get dupped on the internet. SA has electric buses already. City of Tshwane has electric buses.

What happened to the gas powered buses?

Let's hope it fits on our roads, don't pull a PRASA stunt on us

Meanwhile, china has 421 000 electric busses.

If theres low shading no transport

And whenever there's load sheeding?

Let us pray that it doesn't get burned-out or looted

Afrikan child's initiative...credit and acknowledgement must be given where it's due...

One bus to reduce emission, still lot of job to be done

Thanks God because is not connected to those power failure lines always load shedding

Not when it's being burnt.

Mabuza apologises to SA for latest power cutsResponding to oral questions in the National Assembly, Deputy President David Mabuza was quizzed about how the government would go about avoiding future ratings downgrades and whether he supported the unbundling of Eskom into three different entities. you cant keep apologizing if you keep repeating the same thing over and over- clearly then you not sorry!!! You and Ramaphosa you deserve 🎖🏆for apologies Moer annoying when politicians keep apologizing, take home their fat salaries and benefits and the same problems keep coming back. Lucky for them they don't get paid by performance else they would all be filing for bankruptcy.
