Despite playing a man short following Mosa Lebusa’s red-card a minute in the second half, the Brazilians still missed numerous chances to get another win on the board with 19 shots at goal. “It was my idea to be honest because of how deep their line is and the rest defence was not so good but you know when the quicker it goes forward- the quicker it will come back and then you got to re-organise and then the red card I take it even though I speak to the players now and they said ‘ah, coach we shouldn’t have allowed it to bounce’ but ok its football.
“But I think relatively a very good performance from us, very offensive, chance after chance. But maybe too wasteful in front of goal and that’s probably my biggest disappointment but I’m very proud of the character, spirit, mentality of this group is very good.
