Mamelodi Sundowns head coach Rulani Mokwena was pleased the side's reaction in the second half after not showing 'bravery and confidence' in the first stanza. Read more ▶️

Sundowns opened a seven-point lead at the top of the DStv Premiership table after a 2-0 victory over the Birds on Tuesday evening.

"First congratulations to Mamelodi Sundowns, congratulations to the supporters, congratulations to the players and the technical team," Mokwena told SuperSport TV. "First half we struggled to get into the right areas, we didn't really have the bravery and the confidence but I wanna thank the players for adapting to the tactical changes.
