Three players scored hat-tricks for the men from Kimberley, namely Whitehead, Carl Els and Dylan Maart , while Whitehead also succeeded with an incredible 17 conversions for a personal tally of 49 points.Three rounds of action into this newly introduced 10-team competition, the Border Bulldogs are one of three sides — along with the Falcons and Leopards — who have yet to register a victory.
Border’s 114-point loss this past weekend took their points differential to -173. Their defeats came against the Griffons and SWD Eagles and Griquas . umbrella, which will mark the official launch of the local provincial season for 2024. One of the interesting features of this competition is the inclusion of five Sunday afternoon fixtures staged across the country.
