'It is a terrible example to young kids everywhere around the world.' Portugal star Cristiano Ronaldo has been branded a 'cheat' by a former Chelsea star after the penalty he won against Ghana. SLInt MORE:

Fernando Santos' opened the scoring from the penalty spot after Ronaldo went down under the challenge of Mohammed Salisu in the first half.

The 37-year-old went on to convert the penalty and became the first player to score at five World Cups, as Selecao went on to claim a 3-2 win.Former Premier League winner Chris Sutton was not too pleased with Ronaldo's antics and feels he is setting the wrong example. "Look it is not the first time is it. I have to say the VAR officials are absolute bottle jobs," Sutton told the Daily Mail.

"It isn't good play by Ronaldo. It is a terrible example to young kids everywhere around the world. Everyone will be tumbling over."It was embarrassing really how they missed it. I was at the Brazil game and I saw the footage. Blimey - you don't have to watch it many times to see that he went over."I was reading comments saying it was a penalty. It is ridiculous and cheating.
