The company is planning to pay a further R500m to R550m to senior stub holders at the end of 2020, which would bring the total payments to these holders to as much as R2.95bn. When African Bank went into curatorship in August 2014, it was split into a “good bank”, which retained its brand name, and a “bad bank” renamed RDS. A “bad bank” refers to an entity established for the high-risk or bad loans of a financial institution.
RDS said on Friday the reduced loss from operations was primarily due to lower collection costs, due to the declining size of its loan book.

SA Express rescue plan fails as losses widen significantlyThe airline's 2018/2019 annual report shows that it made a loss of R591m, more than three times that of the previous year This lot together with SAA clearly have no idea home to run and manage a airline!!! Kick out the whole board and senior management and start afresh!! Probably to late for that so close it all down!!😡😡😡 They aren't really invested as it is not their personal business. They do not work for its success, but only for the salary. So just enough labour not to get into trouble, but not too much to let people think that they are invested in its success
