Rassie’s rejection pushes Dayimani to France

French rugby giants Racing 92 are on the verge of making their fourth signing for the upcoming season, with Stormers back-row star Hacjivah Dayimani set to complete a move to the Top 14 title challengers.after being overlooked for the Springboks alignment camp in Cape Town, despite being contracted to the Stormers until the end of the 2024 season., voicing concerns about his ability to win battles against other No.8’s.

His most impressive display came against Sale Sharks, where he beat 10 defenders and scored his sole try in 215 appearances this season, propelling the Stormers to a 31-24 triumph and earning himself the man of the match accolade.Despite strong interest from Japanese clubs, Racing 92 have managed to secure Dayimani’s signature on a two-year contract with an option for a third year, subject to his release from the final year of his Stormers deal.
