President Cyril Ramaphosa again promises to assist in the wage deadlock at Sibanye-Stillwater as he appeals to labour and business to negotiate an end to the strike.

JOHANNESBURG - President Cyril Ramaphosa has addressed the May Day incident in which he was booed off stage by angry NUM and AMCU mineworkers.

In his weekly newsletter, Ramaphosa has admitted the country's workforce is fed up and has lost confidence in unions, political leadership and public institutions. Ramaphosa says all stakeholders involved have heard the workers' frustrations and are working towards improving their conditions. The wage grievances of the workers in Rustenburg deserve the attention of all stakeholders, employers and labour so that a fair and sustainable settlement can be reached. As government, we are committed to play our part.

Surprise to tou PresidencyZA - EVERY Honest person’s trust in your crime syndicate political party has weakened!

UNION MANAGEMENT JUST LIKE THE ANC ONLY INTERESTED IN ENRICHING THEMSELVES AND KEEPING THE LUCRATIVE JOBS.

Either SA is a CapitalistCountry in which unions & employers negotiate their wage deals or it isn't: As SA is neither a Socialist or CommunistCountry, I don't see how the ANCGovt can intervene in a strike & use power & pressure to make a deal on behalf of one party!
