Ramaphosa says turnaround at Eskom will bear fruit soon busrep

JOHANNESBURG - President Cyril Ramaphosa today told local and international investors that South Africa’s economy would be in ‘top gear’ as he assured them that the turn around at state-owned power utility Eskom would bear fruit.

“We want to not only change gears but get into top gear,” Ramaphosa told fund managers during the Goldman Sachs conference held in Johannesburg. Ramaphosa also said problems of governance, management and corruption were being addressed at state-owned entities including Eskom and state-owned logistics company Transnet.

busrep I'm only wondering where he will flee to when the investors ask for the return on their investment. Some people are gonna lose really large sums of money. Perhaps he will just make us pay for that too? Cyril's Liar level - Supreme Grandmaster (Lies have short legs though)

busrep When will the price drop? We suppose to pay about R0.60 per kw/h. Or must we continue to fund the gravy train?

busrep So they say while I'm sitting in the dark without supper

busrep Then why another 15% increase Why must SAns still pay for theft that we hear about almost every day ?

busrep Hope China does not get fooled in borrowing this captured buffalo money to uplift Eskom.

busrep Didyhe say that back in 2015

busrep Turn around, or turn off? There is a difference.. When the lights go off son it aint a turn around!!!

busrep Fruit for who is the question? Won’t be us we will get another tarring increase.

busrep How can a company who supplies the majority of S A's with 220v be in debt of over R400 billion ......... BILLION Something not right there !! 🤢

busrep And let me guess.....he allegedly lied with a straight face and then laughed.
