Mabuza said the country should allow the respective law enforcement agencies to investigate the matter.

Deputy president David Mabuza has told the parliament that they haven’t reached a stage when President Cyril Ramaphosa has to resign as the president and a party’s leader. It is alleged that Ramaphosa covered up the robbery where an amount estimated to be $4 million was allegedly stolen by five Namibians who conspired with Ramaphosa’s domestic worker.Ramaphosa for breaching the Prevention of Organised Crime Act by allegedly not reporting the robbery when it took place.

He said a decision will be taken after a determination has been made of which we can’t probably jump the gun and say this is going to be the determination. “The issues around the farm robbery at the president’s place, I think that has been reported to the police and I take it that we should allow the respective law enforcement agencies to investigate without our interference and make their investigation known,” he said.

Meanwhile, Public Protector, Busisiwe Mkhwebane has confirmed that her office will be investigating a complaint lodged against President Cyril Ramaphosa for allegedly breaching the Executive Code of Ethics.
