President Cyril Ramaphosa told the state capture inquiry it was unfortunate that most of former president Jacob Zuma's appointments 'ended up being deployments that were not fit for purpose'.

Ramaphosa said he knew nothing about most of the named individuals as the ANC deployment committee never processed them.

“Right now as we look at that past slate, we are able to say we actually need to do things differently.” Asked if he knew whether Zuma's appointments were made for dubious reasons and were influenced by outside forces at the time, Ramaphosa said that only came to light later when the manifestation of state capture was as clear as broad daylight for all to see.

Where was he when that happened? He acts like he was not part of the Zuma administration. The media should stop playing factional games and be objective and investigate properly. Stop this nonsense of being Pro of the other ANC group and attack other side. Where is the R500bn?

My president, what a genius

Was Jabu Mabuza fit for purpose. The chairman, CEO and service provider for Eskom. Is De Ruyter, Lamola, Gwede, Stella, ntshavheni, blade, Makhura, mabuyane, mathabatha, phophi, mokgoro fit for purpose?

Mzansi will now nail Cyril as if we did not know Guptas were in power.

He should give some examples like, himself deploying the taxi owner and the pharmacist to curb loadshedding. Or byang?

Does that include him when he was on zuma's slate and nominated as the deputy president. Subsequently assigned to head eskom war room.
