A war against the media is a war against democracyWhat is worrying about the attitudes towards the media in South Africa is the willingness by politicians to openly name the journalists they don't like, writes Ralph Mathekga. No it not a war against democracy. We are fighting against media bias and all we are asking for is that media reports Pravin Gordhan corruption the same way it reported on Zuma. Allegations have been made, media must investigate and stop asking whistleblowers to bring evidence I agree is some respects. However some journalists need to decide whether they are reporters or political activists. The grandstanding, ranting and pushing of agendas is astonishing. There needs to be balance. there is no media in SA, we have politicians masquerading as journalists
