Langeberg Unemployed Forum proposes a way to make the unemployed more competitive

The government must abide by the wishes of our great former president, Nelson Mandela, as contained in our constitution, and remove all racist policies from the laws and government policies of SA.

BEE promotes domination of one race by another. Mandela has been betrayed and he will turn in his grave and curse those who promote racial tensions among his people. The Langeberg Unemployed Forum finds BEE policies discriminating. We therefore call for the scrapping of the BBBEE Act. Madiba risked a death sentence and spent 27 years in prison to fight for freedom, and his bravery and suffering are thrown away as if they never happened. Shame on those who do not heed his words. Shame on those who have sat in parliament and passed racist laws, especially those laws that do not seem to be racist but have the result of keeping people unemployed.

We regard business owners as our potential friends, not our enemies. It is small businesses, households and individuals who are most likely to employ the people we represent. They are the young, old, unskilled and long-time unemployed job seekers. We speak for all unemployed and do not discriminate based on race. We stand with Madiba on this issue. We stand for a non-racial SA.

Funny! During apartheid pro White policies were never criticized by people who benefited including media houses.

Nelson Mandela was tolerated in the presidency by the ANC for a single term because it looked good on TV. As soon as he'd finished one term he was kicked out and sent home, he'd outlived his usefulness. Mbeki was kicked out because he wasn't on the NDR path.

Freedom of expression, I guess. Hogwash and weak article. No gravitas.

This dotty

Ja neh opinion piece....

BEE is the biggest stumbling bloc to the growth of our economy. SA is wealthy. There is enough for everyone. But ANC policies leave many millions poor and the elite sticking rich. The ANC has no conscious and steals with impunity. BEE made CR wealthy. And selfish.

You guys must be bored

🤷🏾‍♂️🤷🏾‍♂️🤷🏾‍♂️🤷🏾‍♂️but Mandela's administration introduced BEE.

So, Colonialism, Apartheid and the current MINORITY DOMINATION over the INDEGENOUS AFRICAN MAJORITY is not RACIST ?

Oooh really?

How did something like this go to print?

BEE it's not a racist thing... Many Black African they are excluded from the BEE. The BEE it is only for Cadres... It is only for the few card carrying members/Cadres. That is the truth.

Mpini le? Serious joke.

Nonsense

Well you snapped and racist inside jumped out. 'Forgiving of Whites' that was forced on us was a big mistake 🤔

So this man won't stop haunting us even when he's dead

Bathong?

Can fault it in any way! Well put. This creates an environment for businesses to open without all government’s crazy rules. Small businesses don’t open because of all the obstacles in their way.

👀

I agree.
