Have some fun in the kitchen with the children this Easter and put a spin on traditional hot cross buns with these delicious, quick and easy-to-make mini hot cross bun doughnuts.
Put your apron on, grab two mixing bowls and get started. No need to preheat the oven, as these little treats bake in the Air Fryer…bonus! For the doughnuts, you will need: 200ml Lancewood Double Cream Cinnamon Bun YoghurtFor the crosses, you will need: In a bowl, mix the flour, castor sugar, salt and cinnamon together. Add the yoghurt mixture to the flour mixture and mix to form a soft dough. Place in the basket of the Air Fryer at 180 degrees Celsius for 7 minutes.
Remove from the basket, and while still warm, brush with butter and roll in cinnamon sugar. Leave to cool. Mix the icing sugar and water together, adding a little bit of water at a time until the mixture becomes runny but still firm enough to keep its shape when piped. Happy Easter!
